'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Giving his all

Jamie Stuart's future has been away from Kingsmeadow for some time now, he was expected to leave AFC Wimbledon before the loan window closed but this never happened.

35-year-old Stuart returned to the starting XI on Easter Monday, his first game for Wimbledon in a month.

If the defender is used again remains unclear although he will give his all if he is called upon again, either way he knows he will be moving on in the summer: 'I had a good chat with Terry, he was honest with me, and I was honest with him.

'I know I will not be here next season, but I told the manager that if I am needed again, then I will put the shirt on and give 100 per cent.

'I will carry on doing that for the rest of the season if required. I am here to play as I love the fans and everyone involved with the club.

'It is just football that one day you are in and then the next you are out. At the end of the day, I am still paid to play here and if called upon, then I will give my all.'
