'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No letting up

With AFC Wimbledon now mathematically safe in league two it would be easy for Terry Brown to 'turn to the kids.'

Many expected a number of the younger Wimbledon players to be given a chance once survival was confirmed but Brown, as he told The Hounslow Chronicle, isn't prepared to do this with some tough games coming up.

Their (the younger players) time will come, at the moment The Dons manager would sooner stick to what he knows and get a better idea as to which of the senior players still has a future at Kingsmeadow: 'it's difficult. If we are giving the young boys a chance, and our boys here are really young, what might that do given we still have to play the likes of Torquay and Shrewsbury?

'They will get their opportunity. What I need to do is look at some of the older players who may or may not be here next season and that is my priority really.'

A fair shout really, would you not agree?
