Hatton released
Following talks another AFC Wimbledon player has been released, this time Terry Brown's first signing Sam Hatton.
24-year-old Hatton become Brown's first signing five-years ago and, as he told the official website, releasing him as 'one of the hardest decisions' he has had to make: 'Sam was one of my first signings when I took over after a recommendation from Jason Goodliffe.
'He has been a fantastic servant to the club. He was instrumental in taking us from the Ryman League to the Football League and I have no doubt that he will continue to have a successful career in football.
'Releasing Sam was definitely one of the hardest decisions I have had to make as a manager.'
The defender had made more than 200 appearances for The Dons.
