Doherty move unlikely
It's not been entirely ruled out but Gary Doherty, who Terry Brown has admitted an interest in, looks unlikely to join AFC Wimbledon.
The wages of the defender, released by Charlton last month, were always likely to be a stumbling block and given the money he was on with the league one champions a drop to fit into Wimbledon's price bracket is unlikely.
Brown hasn't completely closed the door on a move for the 32-year-old but knows 'it's a question of wages' that are likely to scupper such a move.
