The signings are coming thick and fast for AFC Wimbledon now with Stacy Long the latest player brought in by Terry Brown.
Long, who was released by Stevenage last month, is looking forward to the challenge ahead of him: 'hopefully I can put my own stamp on the team and help the club do better than last season.
'I am at an age now when I have physical fitness and experience and hopefully I can help others along.'
The 27-year-old is no stranger to The Dons as he is a player that has been on the radar for some time with first-team coach Simon Bassey admitting he was wanted as many as three-year ago: 'he is a very talented footballer, who will add craft to our midfield.
'We wanted to sign Stacy three years ago after he left Ebbsfleet United, but we missed out on him.
'We kept an eye on him and to bring someone in who played over 30 games in League One last season is a real coup for us.'
Long played 33 games for Stevenage in league one last season so clearly has the ability to play at a higher level so most Dons fans must be happy with the quality of the latest arrival?
