AFC Wimbledon sign Bournemouth's Cummings
Long-serving Bournemouth defender Warren Cummings has signed for AFC Wimbledon.
After a decade with Bournemouth the former Scottish international was released. The 31-year-old, as he told the official website, had 'other options' but the vision of The Dons convinced him that Kingsmeadow was the right move for him: 'I had other options but it just felt like the right move.
'The management here are ambitious and hopefully we can push up the table and get into the play-offs.'
You do not stay with a club for 10-years if you are not doing something right with them so even though he was released by The Cherries recently Cummings quite clearly, having also played international football, has more than enough ability to play for Wimbledon where I would expect him to do well.
