Dons land Balkestein
Pim Balkestein wasn't expected to return to AFC Wimbledon following his loan spell last season, although he has done exactly that!
The 25-year-old was released by Brentford recently and joins The Dons as a free agent.
Terry Brown feared that the club wouldn't be able to afford his wages so dismissed the chances of signing him some months back but his arrival has come to boost Wimbledon.
Dutchman Balkestein is a player with league one quality, if not above, so his permanent addition to The Dons is a great move!
