Strutton signs (again) for Dons
Charlie Strutton has signed for AFC Wimbledon, for the second time in under a year.
The striker initially joined The Dons on a short-term contract last season from Chalfont St Peter but instantly went out on loan to Maidenhead. With his contract expiring at the end of the season he returned to the club for pre-season in the hope of earning a longer-term deal.
Strutton has managed just that with Terry Brown, as he told the official website, impressed with the 23-year-old: 'he is a great finisher and goalscorers are a rare commodity. I am absolutely certain he can play at this level.
'Once he gets off the mark, I am sure that the goals will flow.
'He has worked incredibly hard and his fitness levels are now approaching a level that will allow him to give his best.'
Lets just hope that the first goal for Strutton comes early in the season and the rest can flow, as Brown believes they will!
