Dons hit for six!
Result: Burton 6-2 AFC Wimbledon
AFC Wimbledon's opening day win will quickly be forgotten (as will the outcome of this game want to be!) as they were thrashed at Burton on Tuesday night.
Four goals in a blistering 20-minute first half spell from Cleveland Taylor (8), Billy Kee (13), Jacques Maghoma (15) and Justin Richards (28) had Burton four-nil up and virtually home and dried by half time!
The Brewers were not done though as further goals from Robbie Weir (53) and Zander Diamond (68) secured a win.
Wimbledon managed to pull a couple of goals back late on but Byron Harrison (79) and Pim Balkestein's (80) goals were nothing more than consolations with the hosts winning comfortably 6-2...

Not at all how Terry Brown would have wanted to follow up an opening day win.
Defeat you can accept but a mauling like this with so many goals conceded in such a short space of time will infuriate him and he'll be demanding a swift reaction to this at the weekend!
