'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Under pressure

Terry Brown, as he told The Hounslow Chronicle, is under no illusion that he's "under pressure" as AFC Wimbledon manager.

What Brown's done in the past with Wimbledon doesn't count for much, although it may well buy him a little extra time, but he knows that football is a "results based business" and if these results don't improve he'll have to go!

A 2-1 defeat at Kingsmeadow against Rochdale on Saturday did little to ease this pressure: 'We had enormous pressure on my shoulder coming into this game and there's no doubt about that.

'What I needed today was a performance. At the end of the day, if the results don't turn and there's no change then I'll have to move on, I haven't got an issue with that.'

How much more time The Dons' manager has is unknown, but even he knows it's clear there isn't much more of it!
