Back to beaten ways

AFC Wimbledon 1-2 Accrington
29th Sept 2012
15:00
Kingsmeadow

AFC Wimbledon, following victory last weekend, returned to losing ways at Kingsmeadow when they lost to visitors Accrington on Saturday afternoon.

Padraig Amond (25) struck shortly before the half hour mark to give Accrington the lead, a lead that was taken into the half time break.

The Dons couldn't force an equaliser and it was Peter Murphy (78) that extended the visitors lead with time running out to virtually secure the points.

Sammy Moore (90+2) struck in injury time for Wimbledon, but it wasn't enough with them going down 2-1.
