MK dump out AFC in injury-time

MK Dons 2-1 AFC Wimbledon
FA Cup 2nd Round
2nd December 2012
12:30
Stadium:mk

The much anticipated (in some quarters) and hyped FA Cup meeting between MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon saw The Dons suffer injury-time heartache at stadium:mk on Sunday afternoon.

Chances were at a premium in the first half but in the last minute of the half a stunning 30-yard strike from Stephen Gleeson (45) saw MK go into the break ahead.

It was a case of "cometh the hour cometh the man" with a diving Jack Midson (59) header drawing Wimbledon level.

MK had a goal ruled out for offside before a last minute chance saw Steven Gregory denied, meaning a replay at Kingsmeadow seemed on.

That was until a flicked Jon Otsemobor (90+2) effort gave MK Dons a dramatic injury-time 2-1 win, and booked them a place in round three.
