Playing his way into a Dons future

Christian Jolley, on more than one occasion, looked to have no AFC Wimbledon future. However that isn't necessarily the case.

The attacker has been sent out on loan to Newport and has managed three goals in three games so far, which hasn't gone unnoticed by Wimbledon.

Simon Bassey, as he told the official website, has revealed that The Dons are "monitoring Christian's progress closely" and he could still have a future at the club as "the door is never shut" on anyone when they go out on loan.

So there's a chance that Jolley, as can sometimes happen when players go out on loan, could still play his way into having a Wimbledon future when his loan spell with the Blue Square Bet Premier leaders ends.
