Dons secure a late point

Barnet 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon left it late but managed to salvage a draw at Barnet on Saturday afternoon, and it could prove to be a vital point!

Neil Sullivan's fine save denied Barnet taking a first minute lead, with Curtis Osano then denied giving Wimbledon the lead by a goal line clearance.

Barnet did take the lead just past the hour when Jake Hyde (64) struck, and this left them on course for a crucial win, which seemed all the more likely when Luke Moore squandered a glorious opportunity.

Stacy Long (84) rescued The Dons late on though, and broke Bees hearts, securing a 1-1 draw for the visitors in the closing minutes.
