Dons win to move out of drop zone

Rochdale 0-1 AFC Wimbledon
5th January 2013

Spotland

AFC Wimbledon secured a crucial win over Rochdale, at Spotland, to climb out of the League Two relegation zone.

Rochdale had the better of the first half with the bar preventing them from going into the break ahead.

Wimbledon had plenty of chances early in the second half and finally made the breakthrough when Paul McCallum (56) struck shortly before the hour.

McCallum had a second goal ruled out for offside with Joe Rafferty sent off for a second bookable offence to see the hosts end with 10-men with The Dons holding on to win 1-0.
