Dons Beaten At Chesterfield

Chesterfield 2-0 AFC Wimbledon
9th February 2013
15:00
B2net Stadium

AFC Wimbledon suffered another defeat as their hopes of beating relegation took a dent, as Chesterfield's play-off aspirations were boosted.

There were few chances in the first half, so it was little surprises that changes were made at the break from both sides.

Chesterfield managed to break the deadlock just before the hour when one of the players brought on Armand Gnanduillet (59) scored. Wimbledon stayed in the game thanks to Neil Sullivan, however they couldn't make the breakthrough at the other end.

As The Dons went chasing that equaliser they got caught when veteran Jack Lester (83) wrapped up a 2-0 win for The Spireites.
