Third Time Lucky For Newport?

Third Time Lucky For Newport?

Postponed before Christmas and postponed again last night...will it be a case of third time lucky for the Newport v Wimbledon game?

Following the two cancellations so far, discussions between the two clubs and the Football League have thrown up a third date for this game that suits everyone.

Whether it suits Mother Nature remains to be seen though.

The game will now take place at Rodney Parade on Tuesday February 25th and it will kick off with all fingers crossed at 7.45pm.

One advantage of this postponement until a later date is that it means Darren Jones may be in with a chance to visit one of his former clubs, and of course for Christian Jolley, Lee Minshull, Ismail Yakubu, Max Porter and Ryan Jackson who all now represent Newport, it will give them a chance to meet up with a few familiar faces also when we visit.
