Scunthorpe Captain Incoming?

Scunthorpe Captain Incoming?

It's being reported that Scunthorpe United captain Michael Collins will join Wimbledon on loan in the next 24 hours.

With a sparse reserve schedule it appears manager Russ Wilcox is looking to get as many players as he can out for first team football, and surprisingly club captain Collins is one of them and we are reportedly the most sensible destination for him.

Collins, has so far made 15 appearances this season, and has always been involved in their first team affairs when fit, but injury has plagued him so far this campaign.

Th2 27 year old midfielder looks likely to make the switch for a month, but you'd be surprised if it was extended really.

No confirmation from either club has been forthcoming but the Scunthorpe Telegraph are suggesting a deal will be announced within the next 24 hours and that he will join us in time for our game against Bury this weekend.
