Northampton Game Brought Forward

Our game against Northampton Town over the Easter weekend has now been brought forward 24 hours.

When the fixtures were released, we were set to host Northampton on Saturday April 4, but the game, following agreement between both clubs, will now take place on Good Friday - Friday April 3 and will kick off at the Cherry Red Records Stadium at 3pm.

With both clubs playing on the Monday as well, the suggestion to move the game was made to give us an extra 24 hours to recover.

The change is still subject to Football League approval, but it's unlikely that this will prove to be an issue.

Having just signed Adebayo Akinfenwa, the games against Northampton will obviously be a return to his former club for him.
