Dons Ease To Aldershot Victory

Dons Ease To Aldershot Victory

Wimbledon's pre-season programme ended with a win at Aldershot.

A number of Dons youngsters shone on Saturday afternoon, with one among the goalscorers, in a 3-0 win.

The deadlock couldn't be broken in the first half so the sides went in nil-nil.

Wimbledon broke through early in the second half though when Tom Beere's freekick was deflected in, more goals could have followed but chances weren't taken until Kevin Sainte-Luce doubled the lead.

Sean Rigg, who has so much expected of him this season, wrapped up a three-nil win with a cracking freekick.

AFC Wimbledon: Ross Worner, Jack Smith, Ben Harrison, Alan Bennett, Harry Pell, Kevin Sainte-Luce (Chace Jacquart), Sammy Moore, Tom Beere (Egli Kaja), Sean Rigg, Matt Tubbs, Bayo Akinfenwa.
