Be Brave At Luton

Be Brave At Luton

Assistant manager Neil Cox has called on the team to be brave against Luton Town this weekend and rise to the occasion of playing at Kenilworth Road.

This weekend will see Luton's first home game back in the Football League following the five year exile, and Cox knows that the crowd will certainly be loud and boisterous but he wants it to bring the best out of our players.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, he explained.

'Playing in front of a full house and in their first home league game after promotion they will be expected to win. They will get the ball forward and try to squeeze us in, and it's up to us to be brave. We have to be strong. The back four have to be solid and all the midfielders have to work hard so that we stop Luton putting balls into the box.'

Cox goes on to say that our front two will cause problems for anybody, like that have done so far, but we also need the service to be right and for them to take those chances to make it count.

'It's going to be a good game for us, I think it's a game that our players should be really looking forward to.'

Cox also confirmed that a few players, like Jack Smith, were nursing knocks so final decisions on who's in or out will be made tomorrow after training.
