Whose Your Clubs' Lucky Scoring Omen?

Whose Your Clubs' Lucky Scoring Omen?

Some clubs in the Premier League just seem to have a player with lady luck on their side and when they score in a game, that match always returns at least a point.

Of course it's not just the point that matters here, it's how often said player scores and that side takes victory and few players in the history of the Premier League since the rebrand back in 1992 can boast a goal scored = point(s) run on a consecutive basis.

The top ten list for this purpose contains some very familiar names and a couple who would go under the 'blast from the past' category, but few I imagine would ever have imagined that former Aston Villa and Manchester City striker Darius Vassell would've been the man to top that table for the last few years.

He's of course no longer at the top as James Milner, currently with Liverpool, overtook him in the table when he found the net in their victory over Manchester City ahead of the March international break.

Sitting on 47 games and scoring in them without ever tasting defeat puts him one above Vassell who sits on 46.

With a nod to the PremierLeague.com for their record keeping here, here's the top ten players with that touch of luck.
